Your vehicle heater hoses circulate hot engine coolant from the cooling system on the engine through the vehicle heater core, which is located inside the car's dashboard. This coupled with a blower motor, allows for the air inside the cabin to be heated. While critical to the functionality of your climate control system, your heater hoses are also very important to your vehicle's cooling system. Proper maintenance and inspection of your engine's heater hoses will help sustain performance in your climate controls inside the cabin and engine reliability preventing overheating.

• Cracks: Visible cracks on the hose surface, often caused by age or exposure to extreme temperatures
• Leaks at connections: Leakage where the hose connects to other components due to worn or damaged clamps
• Softness or deterioration: The rubber material of the hose becomes soft and loses structural integrity over time
• Low coolant level: Regularly checking the coolant level can indicate a leak
